Stretching over the course of three beer-filled days from the 9th to the 11th of August, the London Craft Beer Festival brings you some of the leading artisan tipples from around the world. We’re talking IPA’s, APA’s, and a selection of real ales for some of the older gentleman out there. Situated in Tobacco Dock, the festival will feature some of the country’s top brewers, ranging from Brewdog to Beavertown all the way to the Salt Beer Factory and Newcastle’s very own Wylam Brewery. This is not one to be missed.
Notting Hill Carnival
The Notting Hill Carnival is one of the most celebrated and long-running festivals in the UK. This year’s carnival stretches from the 25th to the 26th of August and will be filled with Caribbean dancers, Reggae and a range of traditional music from some of London’s most established communities. In addition to some of the great music on offer, there’s also the chance to taste artisanal street food and cuisines from around the world. Think jerk chicken, and goat stews. The Notting Hill Carnival is a celebration of Caribbean culture in its finest form.
London Slime Festival
The London Slime and ASMR festival takes place on August 3 in York Hall London. Perhaps one of the most unorthodox festivals to hit London this August, the slime festival is sure to be one that goes down a treat with youngsters and internet-savvy youtubers. The slime and ASMR trend has taken the world by storm. Head down to the festival this August to make the most of slime workshops, classes, ASMR sessions, and the chance to see some of the most innovative creations within the slime world.
London Brunch Fest
The London Brunch Festival takes place on August 31 at The Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane. Let’s face it, who doesn’t love a good bit of brunch?
